ok-i have had my computer since 2004-and i just now scanned my first pic!!whoooo hooooo we are talking major accomplishment! however- i do not know hwo to crop a pic --and i need some help getting my newly scanned yet uncropped photo on here as a new avatar... help please????????//

adobe photo shop 2 i guess but when i went to the pic itself it came up with paintshop i played with teh eraser! then cancelled out! right now the pic is in my photos and i have an msn site for it

Bring the pic up using Paint, and choose "Save As" and save it as a .jpg file... then you can open it with Photo Shop
