OT: Update on my health issues

Hi All, Just wanted to give you the news that my skin condition is not cancerous and with the use of a cream it should go away in three or four months.  It's called Lichen Sclerosis.  Apparently, it's another symptom due to being post menopausal and hormone deficient. I started seeing a Physical Therapist for the Vertigo today.  Got nauseous and sick as could be.  They have to give you exercises to induce the Vertigo so they no which side is affected the most.  I go for the actual therapy on Tues. & Thurs. of next week.  The Dr. said my analogy of shaking my head like a snowglobe was accurate. LOL. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers.  I am so relieved there is no cancer having fought that battle once before. (((HUGS TO ALL))) Bev

Bev, What great news. That is wonderful. Looks like they are taking the right steps with you to get you all fixed up. My youngest daughter has the head shaking, It gets worse when she is mad or agitated.

HI Bev, Glad to hear no cancer.  That's really great news.  Sorry you are having any problems at all though.  Good they can treat the problem with a cream.  Sounds simple enough -- cream and time. Take care of yourself!

I KONW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH I ALSO HAVE Lichen Sclerosis  DO NOT GO IN POLLS OR HOT TUBS AS THE ADDEDTIVES WILL MAKE IT FLAIR UP  I WILL EMAILYOU WITH THE TREATMENT I USE I NO LONGER HAVE A FLAIR UP WITH THE TREATMENTS  THANK CARE DEAR HEART  BOO

I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH LICHEN SCLEROSIS ALSO!  IT IS LOCATED IN A PERSONAL LOCATION AND NEARLY DRIVES ME CRAZY.  I DID NOT KNOW THE SHAKING OF MY HEAD IS A RESULT OF IT.  CAN YOU TELL ME MORE.  ALSO, ANOTHER LADY SAID SHE WILL SEND YOU HER TREATMENT INFO, ASK HER TO SEND ME THE INFO ALSO.  I SURE APPRECIATE IT.
