What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Thursday!!
Good morning Sweet Linda,
I'm trying to figure out what is causing the tummy to feel as if I'm giving birth to a rhino carrying a load of balloons. <----- YIKES, not possible
Let's try a process of elimination and stop the Kashi first. Going cold turkey may cause withdrawal symptoms. Instead of daily broccoli and cauliflower I will switch to green beans. Next questionable food is the salad I eat almost daily. This body needs some sort of roughage, keep the salad.
I am at a loss. This doesn't feel like a grouchy pouch, it feels like I am blowing up on the inside and it HURTS!! It feels as if my rib cage has gotten too small to hold my innards. You know my food intake is simple and basic. Anybody have a suggestion?
B - cottage cheese, fruit, NO KASHI
L - salad and chicken
S - apple and peanut butter
D - protein something with green beans
Very soon I am going to eat a big old hunk of pepperoni pizza with hot peppers and pray it cleans me out from top to bottom. Taking the rhino and his damned balloons too.
Here's a big hug
Annette
Hey there Annette,
I have to agree with Linda. When you mentioned the broccoli and cauliflower, I thought gas too, and also for me, the Kashi, much as I love it sometimes makes my stomach grumble very loud and hurt. Not always but sometimes. Last night after I had taken my sleep med and gone to sleep I woke up with a terrible reflux moment. I haven't had that in years! Hope it was just this time. I remember wandering around the house naked looking for baking soda, or an alka-seltzser (sp) husband walking around with me making sure I didn't hurt myself I think...I get a little strange if I wake up after the meds. Usually, I don't remember much but I remember a little from last night... anyway...
Cold turkey without the Kashi...did that the other day by mistake...forgot it and had to eat my yogurt plain! I was very disappointed missing the Kashi.
Hope you feel better...
Cheryl
