What's New Thursday!

Good Morning Everyone!

It's not quite noon so it still qualifies.  I've been so busy trying to declutter this house that we've lived in for 23 years. The kids were 4 and 7 when we moved in. They've grown up, moved in and out during college, and moved on . . . why oh why hasn't their "stuff?"  I called Erin today and told her I sure wish she'd had two little boys. She sounded kind of hurt at first until I explained.  If she had boys I would NOT have to save things like my old doll bed that my mom made, Erin's prom shoes and a few dresses for "dressup", costume jewelry from both great grandmas and Aunt Fae, etc, etc, etc. She just laughed!

Erin's in a pretty good routine in Seattle right now, feeling better each day. Spending hours with her little munchkins, and also finding a bit of time for herself. A pedicure one day, lunch with a good friend the next, visiting work another. Then back to the hospital for more time. She says it's still kind of hard to feel like they are really theirs when they can't take them home yet! But she also knows that she's getting some "breather" time to learn the breast feeding, changing, etc while getting a good night's sleep! 

We think the girls will get moved to Olympia about next Tuesday. That will be within 30 miles of Chehalis where they live.  Josh hasn't been able to stay all this week and it's really hard for him.  I'll wait til they come home to get my time in. However, I do have tickets to see Cabaret on April 2 in Seattle so. . . I'll just HAVE to stop by the hospital for a couple of cuddles don't you think?

Thanks so much for sharing in our over abundance of joy the past few weeks. Puppies are getting so cute. Starting to walk, wrestle and growl at each other. I'll get new pics up soon. They still tend to "clump" most of the time. I'll try and get some good ones this weekend.

Erin has a friend who is a professional photographer who wants to include "twins" in her portfolio. So. . . she spent a couple of hours with Erin yesterday in the NICU taking photos and will take more the next few weeks. All at no cost to Erin! Can you feel my anticipation?

I'm going to go see a movie today. Enough of this decluttering for the rest of the day. Hauled 5 bags of stuff to the thrift stores. If I didn't wear it last summer I probably won't wear it this year.  I think it's about time for me to treat myself to a few things that are new. I'll look for summer sales this year that will also work well for Italy in April of 2009. With the lower body lift but these still floppy thighs it is still hard to find pants that fit well. Go figure! Now the tummy is almost TOO flat. . . Not complaining mind you, but still a bit of a challenge. Still hard to believe that I will get my money's worth out of new stuff!

This is a very random post. Sorry.  My mind tends to run in circles even when it's well rested which it is not! Thinking of you all throughout the day even when  I don't find time to post. I will confess that I still manage to drop in and read even if I can't post!!!

HEY OFF FAMILY.....GOT SOME NEWS TODAY!!! WELL AFTER DOING THE 5DPT I SAW ONLY ONE POUND GONE...WELL THIS MORNING I WEIGHED AGAIN.....DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....I AM NOW DOWN TO 195!!! TOTAL WEIGHT LOST IS 139 POUNDS!!!!! FIVE FROM THE 5 DPT!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HOPEFULLY NOW I AM ON MY WAY TO LOSING WEIGHT AGAIN!!!!! I AM WATCHING WHAT I EAT AND DOING IT RIGHT SO MAYBE JUST MAYBE I WILL GET TO MY NEW GOAL....OH YEAH!!!! I AM THRILLED TO DEATH!!!!

WELL ITS CLOUDING UP HERE AND CHILLY SO HARD TO SAY WHAT IS ON THE WAY...JUST WI**** WOULD WARM UP AND GET THIS CRAPPY WINTER OVER AND DONE WITH!!!!

TOMORROW I WILL BE SEEING MY SWEETIE AGAIN!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! WE WILL BE GOING JOB HUNTING WHILE HE IS HERE AND HOPEFULLY HE WILL GET ONE SO HE CAN MOVE HERE....LIFE WILL BE SO MUCH EASIER WITH HIM HERE THATS FOR SURE!!!! HE IS TAKING ME OUT FOR DINNER AND NOT SURE WHAT WE WILL DO AFTERWARDS....PROBABLY GO WALKING AT THE MALL...HE LIKES WALKING WITH ME... =)

WELL NOT MUCH ELSE HAPPENING HERE SO I BETTER GET THE REST OF MY HOUSEWORK DONE...WELL LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT BE HAVING RICKS DAUGHTER HERE ALSO FOR THE WEEKEND....SHE WANTS TO COME AND SEE ME AND WHERE HER DAD WILL BE MOVING TO....LOL GLAD SHE LIKES ME....LOL

Good evening to my OFF family. I am really late tonight. Here it is 5 minuets to 8 at night. I just keep getting later and later don't I? I had a busy day today. I had to work this morning and I was busy at the church. I was there less than a half hour and had 3 people in my office all wanting to talk to me at the same time. My head was just swiveling from one side to another trying to keep up with them all. Finally I just shut up and let them all talk amongst themselves and they were happy with that too. I guess they were in the mood to chat to anyone who would listen to them! I got home and then I had to boil some eggs because I was going to make chicken salad for dinner. I got the eggs boiled and then had to leave to go back to the church. I had the memorial service for my girlfrends mom this afternoon. It was a lot of work getting things done for it since I was at the office all week and it was left to me to do the work. It ended up being a beautiful service. I think that the family was very happy with it. There was sharing and some of the stories that was told about Ann was funny. We all had a laugh at times. The more I think about it the more that I just want to be buried and then have a memorial service at the church. It would save a lot of money and I think it would be better than having people come and look at me. It is kind of like mom told me when she was planning her funeral ~ I don't want people coming and looking at me when I am dead if they couldn't or wouldn't come and see when I was alive. That is something I need to think about and talk over with Bill. I got home ~ in the middle of a sleet and rain storm mind you ~ and got the chicken salad made. It was looking good but I was so tired I just couldn't eat it. I will have some tomorrow for sure.  The weather outside is nuts. It is raining and sleeting and now it is snowing and we are having thunder and lightening with it too. I just want warm weather to come and stay for a long time. Pleezzzzzzzze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just some warm and sunny weather please.  I better get going. I am tired and I need to get a shower and go to bed and jus****ch some television and then just go to wonderful sleep! How wonderful is that going to be!  This afternoon I was thinking that I was done at the office since today is Friday and then the thought it wasn't Firday it was only Thrusday. Oh well you will have that.  I hope that everyone has a great night or at least what is left of it. I love each and every one of you and pray that you will have a blessed night and day tomorrow. It will probably be later on in the afternoon tomorrow before you hear from me.
