What's New Thursday!

Good Morning Laureen and everyone.... Sounds like that get together in Pittsburg is really going to be a wild time. I wish I could be there....I could use some sista time. I am saving my pennies in case I need to be flying to New York with Nic. Have a wonmderful time everyone!! Marc and Wanda.....good wishes and vibes heading your way...hope the interviews go well.  Not much happening here. Went out with friends last night. We went to the meat raffle. I spent $1.00 and won 4 big Rib Eye Steaks. I will be taking them to my daughters when I go to visit next time. Still waiting on Nic's bone marrow results...this is so stressful!! Nic got his first very own car. It is a bright green Slugbug!! He is so excited. He and my SIL love to work on cars. They are going to totally redo this just the way Nic wants it. He is so excited. They got it for him so he has something special to do this summer and to keep his mind on other things.  I am computer illiterate....but somehow I want to get some pics of my grandchildren on my profile. That would be nice.  My cleaning fairy is here today as she is every Thursday. I am so glad to have her....she does a great job. I need to go to the clinic for some blood work this afternoon. No big deal. My doctors nurse called me yesterday and said after the last two diabetes tests I am no longer diabetic....wooohoooo!! No more high blood pressure and no acid reflux.....gosh I love this surgery!! I best get back to work. Everyone have a great day. Hugs and love, connie d

Good morning (late, ha ha) all my OFF friends Not much going on here today but puttering around. I cleaned out my closet and moved all my winter clothes into the spare bedroom and bagged up some to take to a WLS friend who's on her way down the scale.  We'll meet up tonight after my first therapy session, hope I'm good company after that. I decided to clean out my jewelery box and sell my junk gold.  I sure had a bunch of single earrings and broken chains. Hope they'll be worth enough to fund a new wedding ring for myself. Mine is too big and can't be resized due to it's design and I have all of my mom and grandmother's diamonds to use.  So, we'll see what that little baggie of gold is worth. Sunny and warm here today, rain for a week starting tomorrow, so I'm going to go out and about for a bit.  Hope everyone has a dandy day! Hugs to all,

it's afternoon here--hello ! laureen- thx for starting us!!  gosh--you will be all glowy from your time with family and tanned from being in florida by the time we meet-i'm jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was up at midnite- and online til 315-searching cemeteries in connecticut-interesting!  yesterday i found another two patriots for my DAR heritage and in that i found a cousin --many times removed--but living in michigan and only 8 years older than i am...we have corresponded via email and it is fun!  i wish that i were independently wealthy!! i need it to be able to travel and meet more of my sistas and to explore more of my "roots"--and i'm not talking about my hair!!!! i'm reading the secret and enjoying it--and trying to visualize and manifest--and well...i am just gonna keep trying!!! haven't really done much of anything today worth talking about -yet! haven't even gotten dressed--dreary and 38* and rainy and yuck....maybe i'll start to seriously pack for pittsburgh--- or sit and write letters- well- dunno--anyhow- later - hugs and prayers to all- waiting on reports from wanda and marc!!!!

How terrific to see you start "What's New" this morning, Laureen! Enjoy your vacation!  I know you will.  I'm sure your puppy will be well looked after while you are away but I know he's going to miss you.  Time with your family is truly a blessing.

Been busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger here in the office this morning.  Leaving early to take hubby for his heart tests the doctor ordered.  No biggie and he'll do fine with these. Best news!  I was able to move my appointment with the surgeon up to April 8.  That saves me a week of waiting anyway.  Apparently, she is on in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays so not much to pick from in the way of appointments.  It's a week earlier than my previous appointment which is good.  I'm getting pretty antzy in this waiting game.  My own problem but antzy all the same. There goes the phone again so gotta go.  You all are in my thoughts and it goes without saying my prayers, too. Hugs, Kathi
