Like a homerun baseball, it's OUTTA here!
NINE DAYS???? They're only keeping me for 23 hours. One measly hour more and I wouldn't have to pay the $100 outpatient co-pay. Of course, if he gets in there and finds something in the small bowel, it my convert to open, then I'd be there longer, but we're just going for the one procedure in my book.
Thanks for the well wishes, as always.
Hugs
Susan
It's crazy. I'm lying in bed this morning thinking about this surgery and how different it's going to be from my RNY. Sure, it will be done lap, but now that I'm so thin I worry they'll hit something they're not supposed to when they insert the instruments. Then I came to my senses and remembered they'll blow me up like a balloon first, so no more worries ( ha!).
The ultrasound technician had a field day pointing out my aorta and other "stuff". She said people normally don't get such a clear picture of it because of excess weight. She even said my aorta was "pretty"......how nice, how very, very nice
Kisses right back at ya

Glad you found out what the problem is. I had my gall bladder sucked out lapriscopically (sp) in 12/2000. It was outpatient surgery ... only took about 3 hours total time at hospital.
