What's New Wed.

I am at work and I guess that's what I will do today.  However, it is suppose to be pretty and 72 here this afternoon, so off to the park for a walk after work.  That's about it for me today.  You have a great great day Debbie!!!

Hi Everyone! Debbie, I certainly hope that you get some sleep as I am usually sleep deprived by viture of my extreme commuter lifestyle and it's not fun and when I am unable to sleep, which thankfully, does not happen as often as it used to, I am not such a pleasant person to be around :(   The fishing rodeo sounds like fun, I haven't gone fishing in a long time, but it was something I enjoyed, maybe sometime. . .  I'll be sending you positive healing thoughts for your surgery.

Annette, my goodness what a scary thing to happen with Annie, so glad you were home and able to get her detangled from that shopping bag!  I remember coming home from work years ago and finding Dillinger with his choker collar in his mouth, sort of the way a horse had a bit in their mouth, only it gave him no ability to move his head freely and his tongue was swollen, not sure how that one happened, nor how long he had been like that, but he was very agitated when I got home and needless to say I bought him a new collar, one that there was no possibility of having that happen again. . .

Margo, I think Pittsburgh can't come soon enough for you and I'm sending you hugs and positive thoughts to get you through the rough spots.

As for me, I'm here at work, going to make a list of what to pack for my trips, go to the gym after work and if there is any energy left after, then I'll start putting things together for packing on Friday.  Otherwise nothing too much is happening here.

Annette so glad you were there to rescue your kitty....that could have been an awful outcome. Hello and God Bless to all the rest of you....my nind escapes me who else all posted too. CRS!!!! My day is a busy one too. I have to leave soon to go meet up with a client. Missing work on Monday has sure thrown me off!! So sorry that so many of you are having trying times. When I "used to be" depressed, I had that insomnia and it about did me in. I used to push myself out the door every morning because I knew that psychological disability would not be the best spot for me. My therapist helped a lot as well as the newer antidepressants once I found the right one. I'll never forget those days of anxiety and depression- I hope never to revisit them. Today I have a trip to Sacramento planned with a teacher I work with and her older children. It will involve some shopping and dinner. I'm enjoying my week off- mostly unstructured time- my favorite kind! Julia

Howdy girls and guys!                   Hard to believe it is Wednesday.  I am not feeling over the hump yet!  In-laws are still not doing too well...MIL will be in the hospital for a couple more weeks and will need some type of rehab.  FIL has another consult tomorrow and has to have another stress test and circulatory testing before they will approve the surgery to try to remove the tumor and  create a new esophagus.  YIKES!! My DS is better...thank goodness!  He started track yesterday, and practices and meets are everyday after school.  My calendar has no room in any box!  He did make me chuckle yesterday when he brought home the track uniform....he said they were the largest sizes (all marked large) however, they were shrunken.  Looks like they can fit 10 year old girls...He said, "Mom, they will fit you, not me!  So why don't you run track?  NOT!!!--You could probably beat all the girls anyway!"   What a sweetheart...ahhhhhhhhh...although he needs his eyes examined soon.  But I can enjoy the moment.               My DH walked with me this morning.  He wasn't able to keep up with me.  I do my 5 miles in about 1 hour 10 minutes.  He pooped out at 3 miles.....poor baby.  At least I know that I can  "walk, walk, walk as fast as I can, and he can't catch me...he's just an old man!!!"                                                 Have a wonderful Wednesday, and hope your over the hump day is full of smiles! had to jump in with some news! last week i reported the headaches with medicare and anthem and michael's insurance- yesterday; part of that was settled for us and today it's a done deal!!! whoooooooooo hooooooo and the gal to whom i first spoke at anthem was being spoken to by a super cuz the super listened to my incoming call and immediately caught where the young woman missed the flag that i put up about losing his job causing a "life change" to allow the change in insurance! whooooo hooo-gotta toot my horn there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then; today i also got a call from loew's in response to my online job application- i have an interview tuesday morning!!! cool--i would rather work for the cable company but would start at loews in meantime if they can pay me....and if time warner decides that they want me...well...one step at a time!!!! so---those are my news's for now!! again- had to share!!!!!

wow- michael and i took miss roxie for a walk- ran into a local gal who is opening a small eatery in the old bank in town-she suggested that she would sponsor me to become a member of the Lindsey Lions Club--whoooooo hooo- so the current pres happened to be there coming out of the PO and so sandy intro'd me to glenn (pres)and he invited me to their next mtg which happens to be a potluck and clean up of the cemetery- which is where i walk! so--ok--that's my newer news!!! they meet twice a month- one nite is the DAR nite but DAR doesn't meet every month so it would work well! btw- we went walking cuz we have a running joke that we need the exercise- he'll tell me i need it and i'll tell him he needed it! which is actually true- tho he walks so much slower- but it was nice- getting chilly tho!!!
