Why can't things just be ok?
Thanks for your advice I do have a really great pcp she is on top of things and she doesn't put you off because she is so busy, she is one of the best. I will try to be very patient and its not so bad when I am not in pain but when the pain starts is when I get unhappy andd want the surgery yesterday. Thanks again Hug's Sharon D.
OH Sharon,
I'm sorry to hear you've hit a few bumps in the road. I'm going insane very slowly waiting for April 11 when I get to see the surgeon. I expect to be scheduled for surgery that date and I dread the thought of them coming up with "one more thing" they will decide to need or test or whatever to delay this any further.
I keep reminding myself that anything worth having is worth a wait. Anything worth doing is worth the steps to get there.
I don't have to use my cane right now because I've rested and exercised and rested and exercised my knee to where I can function with it -- most days.
Leave the house. Use the cane. Live your life. Just don't give up and do what they ask you to do. Easier said than done but you're not alone -- I'm doing that, too!
Hugs,
Kathi
Thank you so much. I am happy for you April 11 is just around the corner. Please keep me informed of what the Doctor says. I use my cane more at home but i know you are right about leaving the house and using my cane. My cousins called me this morning and wanted me to meet for lunch I just couldn't do it. I was in alot of pain this morning. When I don't have a flare-up I do pretty good. Thanks for your advice and I will keep you in my prayer's that everything goes well on the 11th. Hug's Sharon D.

I am so sorry to hear you are going through all of this. I have been working on medical clearances since January 9th so I know how frustrating it is. Hang in there. It just takes some of us longer to get there

Hi Sharon ... I had to find "other things" to occupy my mind. Unfortunately my old kitty is very sick and so I have been focusing on her rather than me. Now some warmer weather has arrived so I have been puttering around the yard a little and just trying to concentrate on anything but this. Time has passed really quickly since I quit thinking about "it" 24/7. Hang in there!
