Connie -- thank you so much for your comments -- amazing and so encouraging. I just returned home from the stress test and it's all beginning to feel real, so your message came at a great time. I can't believe you're a grandmother -- you look wonderful. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn and Welcome! I'm like you -- waiting for surgery.  This is a wonderful board filled with the most fantastic group of people.   I see my surgeon next Friday, April 11.  It's supposed to be to set a date for surgery.  We'll see if that happens.  I'm a little guarded because anything can happen and I don't want to be too disappointed.  I would be anyway but....... Looking forward to you sharing your journey! Kathi

Hi Kathi, and thanks for the welcome. Have you been waiting long for your surgery? I'll also be looking forward to sharing your journey. I look forward to hearing how your appointment goes with your surgeon next week. Which kind of surgery are you going to have? Marilyn

Thanks for the welcome, Jean. I have been delighted by all the welcomes and love reading the informative, supportive messages on the OFF forum. I've never joined one of these forums before and was a bit reluctant, but after reading other folk's messages for a while I realized I could trust the tender hearts and tough spirits of the women and men on this site. I keep hearing that phrase, "wild ride." I'd like to learn more about why folks are using this term. You look and sound like the outcome agrees with you very well. I love your caption, "feeling good and having fun." Congratulations on your success! Marilyn
