Thanks Kathi. His name is Trooper and he is a spoiled brat. He runs circles around the cat (Gracy) and we aren't sure if she likes it or not. They bobbed his tail so he has tail envy and tries to bite hers all the time. She swats at him but never puts out her claws. I never thought of myself as being inspiring so your words mean a lot to me.Thanks a bunch. Birdy

you look great! it is so good to see you post!! when i look at you up close like this i can tell it's a dog but on teh main board it looks like a black beard--holding him too close to your face! my stupid dog thinks that the cat is playing everytime the cat bats at her so she bats back!!!!

Good morning Margo. What kind of dog do you have?  My dog and cat box with each other with the dog streached up on his hind legs and the cat sitting down. They are so much fun to watch so when they are awake we don't need a tv. I can't hardly stand to leave him when we go some place. It has been much to long since we had a puppy in our lives. Old fart didn't want another dog until he saw this little thing and I think it was instant love which is something he usually doesn't do. He kept saying this was going to be my dog and he didn't want any thing to do with it boy did that change fast.  I know the picture isn't the greatest but I use those throw away camaras and they aren't the best. Birdy....what a difference.....and a cute puppy...however the size of the avatars make it look like your puppy is a beard....would love to see a smiling picture of just you....Hugs, Marti

Thanks Marti. I had so much trouble getting that picture up so I'm not going to mess with it for a while I will just be the bearded lady until I use up this roll of films.  Take care Birdy

Aloha Karen. We thought when we got the puppy that the cat wouldn't have anything to do with him. It only took a couple weeks before she quit hiding and started swatting back. It is so strange she keeps her claws in when she swats at him. She gives him a little nip every so often when he gets to carried away with his self. They are so funny that even the old fart laughs at them. Trooper has really made a differnce in our home it doesn't seem so boring any more. When we go some place now I can't wait to get back to him.   You look good yourself. It must be nice to be at goal and maintaining. I know that will be another struggle to over come. Oh well I'm can do it.    Take care Birdy

Thanks Diane I am trying to post more and respond more to people. I have been so depressed the last few months but I'm on some new meds and I'm doing better. The new baby helps lift my mood also.                 Take care Birdy
