I have guest room if you need it. I have nice hospitality, ask Beth in Nebraska, she came here when she ran away from home....

Margo, sorry you're going through more crap.  Would it be possible to slip Michael's meds in his food.  Just a thought.  HUGS to you. I couldn't sleep and didn't go to bed until almost 3 this morning, woke around 7:30 and have been dragging my sorry butt all day.  I managed to get some laundry and picking up around the house done.  George worked outside finished power washing the house.  He came in, cleaned up and wanted to go out for a late lunch.  We ran a few errands and went to this new place Parrot Pete's - suppose to be a Cafe/Bakery.  They don't have a very extensive menu, mostly sandwiches, a couple of salads, a few other things, but WOW the bakery items looked delicious.  I ordered shrimp and grits, George ordered a chicken, onions, peppers, cheese, tortilla wrap that turned out to be a quesadilla (sp).  Both were good, but mine was better.  A couple of more errands and back home.  He's outside playing in his garden!  What a beautiful day - wish I liked gardening! Happy Easter everybody! Debbie

You're welcome, glad you liked it.  My thoughts also that it was like a stroganoff or a fettuccini!  I bought mushrooms yesterday and am making it for tomorrow along with roasted asparagus, and baked ham.

Hi Friends! I'm late posting today because I was up and out the door by 9:15 this morning and just got in. . . Margo, I just want to say that I know first hand what you are going through, as my 2nd husband suffered from bipolar, manic depressive disorder and refused to take his medications, I was married to him for 7 years, 2 of which we were separated and then when my Mom was sick, being vulnerable and wanting to believe things would be different, we got back together, 6 months later, I knew it was a mistake, but I just didn't have the strength, having lost my Mom during that time, to fight.  It took 2 years to finally get him to leave and that is when I moved down to SNJ, it was my way to escape, if I couldn't get him to agree to a divorce, I was just going to disappear.  Like you, I loved my husband and wanted to believe things could be different, but without him trying to get the help necessary and, in our case not having insurance was not the issue, the last year of my marriage to him, almost extinguished my spirit. . .  anyway, I don't have answers for you dear sweet Margo, but I hope that something positive comes your way and soon!  I don't have a truck, but I do have a spare bedroom and you're welcome to it any time!   I truly hope that this does not interfere with you coming to Pittsburgh as I think being with all of us will give you renewed strength at the very least! As for me, well I left home this morning to do my gym workout and I did my 5K in 48 minutes flat, my best time ever.  I've been in a stall for a couple of weeks, even showing a slight weight gain this week and while it's frustrating, I know I am doing what needs to be done, so I'll hang in there.   After the gym, I went to Starbucks to get my Skinny Mocha Latte, stopped at Produce Junction to pick up some brocolli rabe, baby spinach, apples and grapefruit, dropped them home and then took a ride to the outlet mall, to try and buy some clothing for my trip next week.  First I stopped at this handy little thrift shop right accross from the outlets that everyone has told me about, where I picked up two pairs of jeans, regular size 18s, they have spandex in them, but they fit nicely, and 3 tops, all for the price of $18.  I then headed for the Outlets Mall, where I walked and walked and looked and looked, 5 hours later I came out, tired and laden with some bags, one of which was from Carters, where I bought baby stuff for all the people I know who've had babies lately, the other, well, when I got home and tried things on, most of what was in that bag is going back, they were either too big, or I just didn't like how they looked, hopefully, it won't be 90 in Florida because I don't feel like doing anymore shopping and the bathing suits Judy sent me will have to do, because the one I bought, it was too big and ugly and it's going back too! Well folks, I wish you all a good day, prayers and positive thoughts are going out for you!

Glad you are looking forward to our get together in less than 2 weeks, I really can't wait to meet you and the others, though I think Carla and I might get to meet up in Florida when I'm down there next week. . . I'm short, 5'2". . . It's amazing that I can do a 5k in 48 minutes and then spend 5 hours walking the mall, me who a year ago, would have my lower back and legs screaming in pain of the violation I did them for a mere hours walk, thank God for the 55 lbs. I have lost, I have to keep reminding myself of that and not get stuck on the fact that this process has been like the turtle I now use in my ticker. . . but my focus there is that the tortise beat the hare, so slow and steady will get me where I want to be and in the meantime, I am feeling good and while nothing lasts forever, I will enjoy the good feelings I now have, I deserve them and you deserve to feel good too, so hang tough my sister!
