Nic and the others stayed in Moline Illinois last night. Nic's hips were hurting from the bone marrow aspirate and they were all pretty tired and didn't want to drive the 3 1/2 hours home. he sounded good on the phone.
I need to run a few errands today to get things I need for my trip. I want to get a gift for my GF's mom for having me there this weekend. I always like to take something. I already got her a peach colored Easter Lily and a box of her favorite Russell Stovers candy. I want to look for a little Easter something.

Oscar is pi$$ed too,but it's my fault. After 3 days of taking it easy foodwise, my eyes were literally bigger than my tummy at the store this afternoon. I had skipped a snack and felt I was owed a treat - very bad idea. Our local grocery has a very nice deli that serves plate lunches where you grab a to go box and put what you want in it, paying by the ounce. It's reasonable, and the food is so fresh. OK, today being Good Friday, they had fried shrimp, fried catfish, gumbo, and onion rings. So, thinking I was being good, I grabbed a very small (dessert size) to go box - how much can you stuff in one of those! I took 6 fried shrimp, one piece of catfish, and 2 onion rings - got home and proceeded to eat, chewing well. As soon as 3 shrimp, 1 onion ring, and 1/2 the fish was down, it was making a repeat performance --- a long, slow repeat! Serves me right! The leftovers are in the frig waiting to see if George wants them. We're off today and he went fishing without me . I'm out of commission until after thumb surgery on the 2nd.
B - protein shake
S - none
L - above disaster
S - none yet
D - baked fish, oven roasted cabbage ('cause I'm too lazy to stand there and stir the pot, I put the cut cabbage, onions, and seasonings in a roasting pan in the oven and am checking it every 20 minutes. It's almost done and looks really good).
S - protein shake
