Good Morning Friends! Annette your post was alarming at first, though the fact that you used your common sense was a good thing!  I'll bet Tom is just happy that you are able to enjoy your life with him more! As for me, today's activities include finishing the cleaning project in this house, as I've been on the go for the last 3 or so weeks with little or no time to do more than the minimum and I could not take another week without putting things in order and cleaning, especially since next Friday I leave for Flordia and from there Pittsburgh to meet up with the "baker's dozen" who will be in attendance there!  I also have my friend Tony coming down for a visit, he is going to follow me while I drop my car off for it's 15k service check up, which should have happened about 3k ago, but due to my busy life and/or weather I was unable to get it there.  This evening I will attend an AA meeting and then I will probably be ready for bed, lol. . .  I hope wherever and whatever you are doing, it is a good day for you! Prayers and positive thoughts going out for all!

Laureen, Dont clean to much!!!!! It will be there when you get back. Ok where is the hotel you are staying at. I want to come and meet you on Saturday. I am off that day. I cant find a Best Western Bayfront. There isnt one. ARe you sure that is the place. Let me know. Carla I looked in Clearwater and in St Petersburg.  By the way the beaches over there are very pretty and there is a lot to do there. I have never been over there and am excited to come and check it out.  Even if it is for just coffee!!!!!

Hi Carla, Spoke to my daughter and she said she booked us into the Quality Inn, in Clearwater, as it was cheaper, I'll find out where it is located and what time we might arrive, because we will be arriving on Saturday, so I'm not sure what time we will actually be getting there. . .  I'll find out more when I talk to my daughter again this weekend.  Looking forward to meeting you! WELL TODAY IS A LITTLE BRIGHTER FOR ME HERE...ONE MORE WEEK AND RICK WILL BE HERE TO SEE ME!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! ALSO GOT SOME NEWS ON MY FOOD STAMPS YESTERDAY....I HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND NOW I WAIT TO GET MY CARD IN THE MAIL WHICH WILL TAKE 5-7 DAYS. COME ON MAILMAN GET IT HERE SO I CAN GET ME SOME FOOD TO EAT!!!! STILL WAITING TO HEAR ON MY LEGAL AID DIVORCE. GOT MY HOME HEATING CREDIT YESTERDAY ALSO SO THATS ONE MORE BILL I DONT HAVE TO PAY NEXT MONTH!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!

TODAY IS DAY 2 FOR MY 5DPT AND I AM DOING PRETTY GOOD WITH IT SO FAR....COME ON TOMORROW WHEN I CAN HAVE SOME FOOD....LOL COTTAGE CHEESE NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD TO ME....LOL CHEWING THE DF GUM REALLY HELPED YESTERDAY FOR MY WANTING TO CHEW CHEW CHEW.....GLAD I HAD SOME WITH ME!!!

MY MOM ADOPTED A DOG LAST NIGHT. SHE IS ABOUT 7-8 YEARS OLD AND IS A BLONDE ****ER SPANIEL NAMED SASSY. SHE WAS A RESCUED DOG A FEW YEARS AGO. SEEMS THE PEOPLE THAT HAD HER MOVED AND LEFT HER BEHIND....SHE WAS FOUND A WEEK LATER WITH NO FOOD OR WATER....ONE OF THE GUYS I WORK WITH ADOPTED HER AND NOW HE HAD TO GIVE HER UP BECAUSE HIS LITTLE BOY WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE AND IS AFRAID SHE WILL BITE HIM....SO ALL IN ALL MOM GOT A VERY NICE LITTLE DOG TO LOVE AGAIN AND SASSY WILL LIVE HER LIFE OUT HAPPY!!!! SO IT ALL WORKED OUT IN THE LONG RUN HERE....I CAN SEE A SPARK OF NEW LIFE IN MOM'S EYE AGAIN SINCE SHE HAD TO PUT PEPPER DOWN A FEW WEEKS AGO.

WELL I BETTER GET GOING HAVE TO SHOWER AND GET DRESSED FOR WORK 10-4 TODAY....BANDIT IS CRYING AND SCRATCHING AT THE DOOR FOR HIS WALK...SO I MUST GO NOW...HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY AND KNOW I AM THINKING OF EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!!!!

good morning! it is friday ! we are expecting more snow -ugh!!!!!!! yesterday; i did go apply for that job, as well as applying online to loew's and i did some shopping...as  i was coming home,the cable guy-bobby not larry!- was still at our house and michael hands him the phone and says "you tell her" so i'm expecting some bad news about our tv's or something...well- bobby proceeds to tell me that our local cable office needs someone front desk,,so he pulls up the website and has it waiting for me...describes the beenfits and pay scale and i am ready!!!!!!!! and i filled out the app after he left- as well as updating my resume ( a brief one!)...so-maybe he was in the right place at the right time for me???we shall see...everything in life is wait and see... i checked out cell phones and came home to order online- free sounded better to me! forgetting that i cannot get one shipped here w/out a whole buncha hassles!!!!!something about our address not being verifiable due to the post office not delivering here...sooooo...am hoping to get my phone soon so i can play and put numbers in --and learn to snap pics etc!!! whooo hooo--i'm trying to get technicalogically updated!!!!!! maybe today i should actually try to build that web page so i can do that volunteer work????hmmmmm.... i found a cute jean jacket in dots on clearance- wanted to buy it but it would need some re-doing--and i am not sure that it woulda been worth it!!!! tho the price was right ! and it was still and XL...what's up???  and then would it match my jeans--i was in black -go figure! sooooooooo...i'm just looking for a kicky spring jacket cuz someday it won't be winter anymore.... ok- day 2 5dpt report--sucked! i found it easier to get my water in and drank my broths and stuff but i really really wanted something to chew by supper time- this morning i am down roughly 1 ( that is ONE) pound..( that would be total loss so far one friggin pound!!!!!!) .and it was time to add food--so---i have had some cottage cheese ( maybe 1/2 cup -whatever was in the bottom of the tub) with two hard boiled eggs cut up and stirred in and some pepper on top - i love black pepper! ....i'm waiting for my coffee...oh man that was stupid- shoulda had that first huh!....and plotting out some tuna for lunch .... i seem to remember my surgeon telling me early out that he didn't make my pouch so drastically tiny cuz i was a "lite weight"--well gee thanx doc....so now i can eat a whale so long as it's covered in pepper!!!! i really don't feel anymore enrgized and i sure am not feeling any better about my pouch..i'm trying to ......... today we have PT  and i am not sure what else is going on.... today is Good Friday..i know--i didn't tell you anything you don't know...what i do have to share tho is that Good Friday for me is never good...even tho the actual date changes each year-the "term" is the same in my mind--Good Friday 1971 i lost my first baby and so it's always a sad day for me...a reflection day and one of many mixed feelings due to the cir****tances and my love for the baby's father and all..there-now you know one more thing about me that you didn't before....and i only talk about on Good Friday. .soo--must get velcro roxie off my lap and go get dressed ... i'll check back later, i'm sure! hugs and prayers ...keeping you all close to my heart today.....

funny thing,,,,as i was typing i was thinking of you ....and our day at the texas state fair! and conversations we have shared...and getting dressed i realized you were MIA again.... thank you..i know you understand....

Hugs Margo, Extra special ones for today. One pound gone is good. You are headed in the right direction. Stick with it even though it is hard. Haul out a pound of butter - that's what you lost so far.  Clothes shopping is no fun. The clothes are too big, too small, too young or too old. "Just right" is always too expensive.
