Hiya Marc...we have to to stop meeting like this..LOL. My NUT said she wanted me to get used to the texture and the use of food ASAP. She said some people become dependent on shakes. I think there are high protein ones, the never ending question is how much protein can we absorb at one sitting. I enjoy my food, and I have come to terms with the amounts, and I love the flavors...it works for me. In the early times, when they first told me to switch to food, I was terrified, but so far so good...good..good!

Hiya Marc...we have to to stop meeting like this I know! ... people are starting to talk! .... I mean shee**** was just that one night in Las Vegas with those trapezes we borrowed from Circus Circus .... by the way, is your back better now? She said some people become dependent on shakes I can't imagine... but we are all different... given the choice I will certainly choose food every time! ..... and awaaaayyyyy we go!

I think it was the monkees and the chickens that made them talk. Back is better, and I too prefer food, I was just convinced I would not continue to lose weight, which thankfully was not true.

I will make me a protein smoothie sometimes, but it is more for a treat.  I think all docs and nuts are different.  I don't use this as a meal replacement, but rather a goodie

I usually have my "shake" as hot chocolate at bedtime.I add my Body Fortress chocolate to some powdered milk and splenda with ho****er in the microwave.  I have a hard time getting all my protein in, as I cant tolerate many meats even after 2 and a half years! Sometimes eggs will sit well, other times they dont,  so dont do them often.  As for soups, I eat bean soup or chili a lot, for the protein, and I make em thick. . Ill admit, Im getting really bored with my menu lately, but there are so many things I still cannot eat. So, im thankful for the protein powder. As for the best one, unflavored unjury is great, you can even put it in your flavored water and cant taste it! Hope this helps! Blessings Betsy

Lean Protein, The Nut. told us we need to chew to release the ( stuff) from the brain that gives our bellys the feeling of being full,  Huh, Yup, the brain fills the belly.So, back to basics, chew till you have nothing left to chew, one small bite at a time. I'm two years out and if I follow the rules , it still works. Simple critters, Naaa, I've got one of yous guys,  His new favorite saying is: Give me a beer and something neck*d, Lite beer of course, one or two a week . Get out and walk, pump your arms and legs as you move along, feels so good. Sing or talk as you walk,  helps to move lots of air in and out. Hop-a-long, Marc
