The 5 Day Pouch Test ... uhh.. thingie
You're right, I am not a doctor, but I play one on TV and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...
(installing brain... one moment please...)
If you want to "flush" out your system and re-acquaint yourself with the difference between head hunger and real hunger then I think the first 2 days would have some benefit to you... otherwise the last 3 days regimen would work for you to get in touch with your pouch again. Really, I don't see any harm in cutting out the carbs and just eating protein for a few days, which is basically what this 5 dpt does....
You are so close to goal, which is awesome! ... so whatever you are doing is obviously working.
I guess in summary I would say you really don't need to do anything... the 5dpt is designed to get us lost sheep back in the flock and you aren't lost at all
Marc,
You should feel very proud of yourself, you knew you needed a boost, came searching for and utilized what was suggested! That is awesome and shows that you've got exactly what it takes to use your tool the way it was intended. From all that I've learned in the couple of years since I started earnestly researching this, many fall away from the path at some point, the 5dpt is a way to get back in touch with our tool and I'm sure one day I will need to utilize it, thankfully, the many before me who've done it, have shown it works and as for the main board thread, not too many people like doing this, it's hard, especially if you've gotten real off track, but you are a case in point of seeing that it works and it helped you realize so much, and in 5 days! Awesome, dude!
BTW: I have a cousin whose name is spelled Marc with a "c" and since I possess a name that is not everyday, I get a bit of humor out of it when people call me Maureen or take an "e" away and call me Lauren, it's the price for being unique, as we all are to one degree or another
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

You should feel very proud of yourself
I don't feel proud at all to be honest.... I just feel fear - I remember vividly what it was like being over 400 pounds... and when my knee started to hurt and then my hips started to ache I basically freaked out, but in a positive way this time
I have a cousin whose name is spelled Marc
I don't think we should let it get out that we're cousins....
