Heart cath results = FALSE POSITIVE!

Hi Debbie! Yes I am thrilled that it was all OK. You are so right about the butt covering. I just wish he could have covered it a less painful and worrisome way!!!

I am actually much better tonight. I changed the dressing earlier this afternoon and had a heck of a time finding the spot!!! lol I took a big nap with my lovey kitty and felt so much better when I woke up. I am trying to limit walking the next couple of days. I think I may have aggravated it last night constantly having to go potty (probably because of the IV fluids). I will see how I feel in the morning. I have to call and make a follow up appointment anyway. I was going to do that this afternoon but I fell asleep!

OH Susan! What wonderful news you got today!  YIPPEEEE!!!  The end result is you get to have your surgery! Hooray for you, Kathi

I'm so happy for you; ticked that they put you through all this unnecessary stress, but happy that it all turned out OK. Now you have to have the EGD (which is mild by comparison) and off you go to stand in line for the losers' bench.

Thanks so much. I think that cardiologist wanted baseline data for a new patient. He should have just said that! Oh well, it is in the past now. I am having the EGD on my own and it will not delay WLS since they do not require it. The EGD will be April 5th. I sure have lots of time to kill (before WLS) so I may as well get that and my big toe checked out ... haha! I am going to go to a used clothing store and buy a cheap pair of size 12 pants to hang on my bedroom wall "for inspiration".

Susan, Way to go!!!  I am really happy for you.  Very sore is probably okay.  My mother had it and, yes, it is very sore for a while.  Any bleeding or fever, etc., I would call for sure.  Well, even if you feel uncomfortable about it, call anyway.  That is what they get paid for!!  :)

I was going to call the DR earlier this afternoon to schedule a followup and ask about the tenderness, but I got busy changing the dressing, then I laid down on the bed and slept for hours. I felt much better when I woke up.

PS ... you are getting really close to you surgery date! WOW!
