YAY Thank you all so much for your prayers and moral support! Next step is a DATE for WLS!

I am however a little ticked that this cardiologist has caused a 2 month delay for WLS, not to mention a lot of un-needed worry and stress AND a sore groin ... but what is done is done.

The area is very sore. I don't know if I should call the DR or not?

Yup, Always call your Doc. if you have Any questions.  All you are doing is being pro-active for you and that is a super fine thing to do.  You are the important one here .  You are doing the best for yourself and need to have everyone in your corner. Pissed , I'm sure is a mild term....GEEEEES, Louise,. Okay, Thoes test are over, you are good to go, so go foward with gusto.  All that other stuff is behind you and you can focus on the next part of your journey.   Please keep a copy of all test you have done, just in case some paper work slips through the cracks,   You'll be able to whip out your copy and not have any more major holdups...... So if they say we don't have the results to your( dingleberry test),  You show up with the results in your Hot Little Hand, and gently wave the paperwork ..........Gently I say heehee.  Go Girl. Peg

Haha Peg ... thanks for making me giggle. I am going to switch to the DR that did the cath . He felt the paperwork could have been taken care of TODAY. The instructions say to call and make an appointment so I will ask to follow up with him. That other guy told me before the test that I may have had a previous heart attack or have blockages ... I didn't need that Xtra stress. Also, his battery of tests was eating up time and money. I had just had an EKG in late July 2007. I have had many EKGs and a stress test in the last 7 years and never once was anything "unusual". I really think he wanted "baseline tests" since I was a new patient. I wish I had gone to the cardiologist who had done the previous stress test. I should be one of the best tested (haha) WLS patients this surgeon has had in a while! Then, when I go in for the PATs before surgery they repeat many of the same tests I just got clearances for! (go figure?) Yes, I am going to get copies to have in my hot little hand for "backup" as you suggest. My gusto has been flattened ... I have to get it pumped up again

Take care sweetie & send us some sunshine it is raining again in Ohio!

(((((((((((((( hugs Judy ))))))))))))) I will let you for me! I am grounded for 48-72 hours. I am feeling a little better than I was earlier (not as sore/tender). He probably had to really dig through layers of fat to get to that buried artery!!!
