What's New Tuesday?
Ahh geeze Annette,
That is a tough one, really tough.
I was a case manager for mental health agency for a few years so I know what you mean by ping pong ball...I know you know but just have to say, all you can do is listen, not try to reason...it will wear you out...encourage her to continue to get treatment...I know the mental health system is broken...but...not a lot to do about that... is she on meds? It's so hard to watch people you love and care about...
Thinking of you...
Cheryl
Take care of you, dear....
We never touch people so lightly we do not leave a trace.

Thanks Cheryl,
Yes, she's finally on meds - about time. I know it takes time for them to become effective. She seems to be in a safe environment, living next door to her parents, that is important. They are monitoring her meds and making sure she sees her doctors. All I can really do is sit and listen.
Annette
OH SWEETIE I KNOW ITS HARD
I HAVE A 62 YEAR OLD BROTHER THAT HAS BEEN UNDER THE MENTAL HEATH OF THE COMMWEALTH ALL HIS LIFE HE LIVES WITH ME
IT IS LIKE HAVING A 4 YOUR OLD ALL THE TIME THEN SOME TIMES HE IS LIKE A BAD 16 YEAR OLD
BUT WE LOVE HIM AND I WOULD NEVER EVERY SEND HIM AWAY
MY SISTER WILL NEVER HELP WITH HIM SHE WILL NOT EVEN TALK TO ME BECAUSE I TAKE CARE OF HIM
CAN YOU EVEN STAND THAT ?
LIVE IS GOOD
BOO
Hugs to you Boo,
Over the past several months I have learned to appreciate my OFF sisters in so many ways. Unfortunately, we can't choose our blood sisters as well. I know how you feel. I often tell people that mine was adopted and we are not biologically related. They believe me.
Keep on loving and caring for your brother. You are a good sister.
