What's New Tuesday?

an apple was calling me--did you hear it???it was saying "margo...you know that you want to finish off that wonderful apple dip that's in the frig before you start your 5 dpt."....so--here i am --what's new with you?? make a cuppa coffee and pull up your chair...hey-pour me one too k???? i thought it was sunday somehow- don't ask!!i'm going back to bed- maybe michael will follow me- he has been up most of thenite and followed me to the couch when i got up now...hmmmm.lackatrust unfounded???? hugs to you all! later!

Ain't nuthin' new here!!  Same stuff, different day. 4:30 and I just put the natural red on my hair.....will be off at 5:15 and I'll wa**** out, blow dry it and be at $4 by 6:30 a.m.   Gas is killing me.  NO, not that kind of GAS!!!   The liquid gold kind that goes in my car for my 78 mile roundtrip every day.   Was $52 to fill my car up last night.  I'm feeling the pinch.  May have to cut out my $4.... WHAT??? Did I say I may have to cut out my $4?????????   It's springtime and I've got to hire a yard man.... so there's my coffee in the mornings... I can't do everything I'd like to.  Here's the really sad part....when I'm broke, I date.... and I just don't have the energy to put a 'man' in my life regardless of the time spent.  I'm through being cute and charming.  Just the thought of having to go out with someone makes me tired.  Girls, I think I'm going to be alone the rest of my life... and by choice.  I'm done. Wonderful weekend with my grandkids..... went to their house for dinner (cookout) Saturday night with the whole family and then 'babysat' with them Sunday from 3-8.  We went to lunch at Pancho's... all you can eat Mexican food....they love it because you can raise the flag and get what you want... then to the movies to see Horton Hears A Who.  I urge the child in you to go see it. The animation is great.  Being a grandmother is the best.  We topped off the evening at my 4 year old granddaughter's STARBUCKS....her comment was "Let's go to MY Starbucks, we ALWAYS go to yours!!". I'm checking out facelifts again.  Would like to do the lbl but honestly, I'm the only one that sees me without my clothes and if I start one thing on this old body, I'll have to follow through.  I am getting those pesky yeast spots under my panni more... had three in the last month.  I wonder why?  Guess I'll start doing the picture thing.  But I WANT a facelift!! There is absolutely nothing else to say here for me today... unless we talk about work.  Sales have slowed.  That may or may not be a good sign.  I'm still hanging on. Oh, I'll pass along some gossip.... well, not really.... I talked to Dorothy E.... she rarely even lurks anymore.... imagine this.... SHE GOT A LIFE!!   And she's happy.... no marriage in the picture but traveling some (her kids have both moved to different states) , doing a lot, living after WLS.... go figure!! Nothing new to report this morning. I think I may have to try the pouch test. I am starting to feel really fat. I know I need to start getting some exercize. I've gotten used to hiding in the house all winter.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Mornin' Margo and Everyone, It's definitely Tuesday today.  Today is my "preparation" day for the colonoscopy tomorrow.  I have enough distractions, though.  Busy at work this morning and then leave work early to take hubby to the doctor.  His breathing is becoming more and more difficult for him so off to the doctor with ye!  I hope for a referral to a pulmonary specialist for him.  Otherwise, he's going to have to use a wheelchair every time we leave the house as even short walks are quite laboring.  It is what it is. Daughter and her family called in from Disneyland yesterday.  I got to "hear" the parade on the phone.  LOL  They were headed to the Tower of Terror in California Adventure as we spoke.  They are having a great time and that pleases me. Margo, I hope you get some more rest this morning.  Janet, I know that the price of gas is just climbing and a 70-mile round trip commute has to really hurt.  Yikes.....  Can't wait for an update on the babies from Karen C!  Take care and have a great Tuesday! WELL HERE I AM AT MY DESK BEEN HERE FROM 6:30AM TO DAY I AM WEARING A NEW PAIR OF SHOES I AM HAPPY MY FEET ARE HAPPY  YES MARGO I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT 2 NEW PAIRS I COULD NOT HELP IT THEY ARE LITTLE BLACK CLUGS SIZE 4 1/2  I LOVE THEM AND THEY WANTED TO COME HOME WITH ME  YESTERDAY EYE DR  FITTED FOR NEW CONTACTS THEY FEEL A LITTLE DIFFERENT BUT I CAN GET USED TO IT BETTER THAN GLASSES  TODAY I DID MY 30 MIN RUN IN THE AM  THIS AFTERNOON I GUESS I WILL DO MY 30 MIN WORK OUT NOT SURE WE WILL SEE HOW THE DAY GOES BOO 

Morning everyone, Margo, I guess that recipe for the apple dip is a good one?  I was at the grocery store yesterday and wanted to buy the ingredients, but wasn't sure if I had the Splendas and didn't want extra hanging around. So, maybe I'll check the old pantry today and see. It really sounds so good! We're expecting enough rain today to warrant building of an Ark. Up to 7 inches in some parts of AR. Of course, two weeks ago the weather guys said we were going to get 6 inches of snow and we barely had a dusting, so I guess we'll just see what the day brings. I'm going to my PCP today for lab draws and to see about upping my dose on my sleeping pills.  I've been on the same dose now for two years and they aren't cuttin' it anymore. I love my sleep, and this waking up at 3:30 is the pits. If I would get up instead of laying there I could be the first to start this thread now and then. Very late night at work tonight, then back in tomorrow for a 12 hour day tomorrow. Better make money while people are willing to spend it. This economy really scares me. Hugs to all.

Today dont think we will get anything done outside, It has been raining off and on all night and is suppose to do so all day today. Hard heavy rain , We are suppose to get anywhere from 4 to 6 inches and if so all of our low water bridges will be overflowing and underwater. Thank God we live up where we dont flood but can imagine how devastating that would be.  All the spring flowers are blooming here. Forsythia, hyacyants (sp) daffodills, and the tulips are all up about 3 to 4 inches tall, they will be putting on buds soon i expect altho they dont usually bloom untill about the first of May.  I guess i will do some more spring cleaning here in the house. getting rid of lots of extras that i dont use or need.  That is hard for me to do , Im a natural born pack rat and i have to fight that urge all the time.  My weight is still going down but is very slow...like a pound or two a month. Maybe with summer time getting here I will lose some more of it. But Im into size 10s and never thought that , that would happen, altho i would like to get into size 8s . I think i could get into that size if i had a tummy tuck but just havent had the time ...maybe this fall. Too much to do this summer to have it done and be laid up for awhile.  Janet the economy scares me too. Im really afraid of what is going to happen, We are getting ready to put in a big garden this year , something we havent done before. I just bought a big deep freeze the other day too.  as the song says (Country girl can survive) lol 

I'd like to be going back to bed but even if I were at home I couldn't.  I'm already regretting having a puppy and it's only been since Saturday.  Went home yesterday and she peed and pooped in her pen.  Same thing this morning.  I refuse to deal with it,,,hubby does.  He wanted this,,,NOT ME!  She's cute as hell but I'm too old for this puppy crap!  I can't wait for our trip next weekend,,,wi**** were this week!  LOL   I'm really worried about my daughter though.  She's got bronchitis and a sinus infection AGAIN!  It's almost every month I swear.  In fact the doctor told her yesterday if she gets it again he won't give her anymore antibiotics and it will just have to run its course.
