Good morning from Brenda who is from Portage, Indiana. We are the northwest part of Indiana and I live just a few miles from the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. I love the lake. We are the gateway to the dunes. We have National Lakeshore right in my backyard. That is if I had a backyard. I live in an apartment now.   One of the things that I love about living here is there is 4 seasons and they are all beatiful even if in the winter we have to shovel the lake out of our yards.  

My I can see it now as you write haw nice to have a  shore so close to home  How funny shovel the lake heehee Boo
