you really are in my heart here cuz i know the fear of someone threatening your life- and you have worked too hard to get him help..... try to sleep tonite and get thru your day at work- glad that you will be calling the lawyer tomorrow- don't wait thru the weekend.... oh-and as for work in ohio- well- you'll find it when the time is right***!!~~***

Judy, I am keeping you in my prayers that this whole insanity will stop and you will have some peace. I don't know how the POA could be changed legally since I know that the attorneys ask the person questions and they have to answer them without help. At least that is how it is in Indiana and when I got it for my mom. I can't imagine them not checking into the fact that they are sane mentally. Just keep your cool and I don't think that I would be at home alone when the step daughter comes over. You have to cover your butt and you have to do anything you have to do it. It takes what it takes. Just keep your faith and things are going to be fine. You are his wife and legally you are next of kin. Remember that we are here and will listen to you anytime. I am sending hugs and love to you.

Judy: Don't wait til next week to talk to your lawyer. Tell him/her what's going on right now. That's what you're paying them for. You can call them anytime if there's an emergency. And this is definitely an emergency. I agree with someone else who wondered how his daughter got POA if he's mentally incapacitated; don't think it will be valid. So get the lawyer on it right away, don't wait until next week. And change those locks, one way or another. You have rights in this; you are his wife and have done nothing wrong. Stand up for yourself. I wish I could do something monetarily to help you, as others have helped me, but unfortunately, that isn't possible. I do have a used microwave that works OK (just doesn't pop popcorn well) if you need it when you get a new place. Let me know. And if you need a place to hide out, my spare room floor is yours anytime. But you'll probably be more comfortable at Phyllis'; I don't have a bed and I don't think the dog will get along well with my cats. Hang in there girl, just put up your dukes and fight for your rights! We're all here in your corner! Call me if you need a shoulder or a cheerleader. 

I AM CALLING MY LAWYER TOMORROW SOON AS I GET HOME FROM WORK!!!!! AND I WILLNOT BE HERE ALONE SUNDAY EITHER WHEN SHE COMES FOR HIS CLOTHES!!!!!! MY BROTHER IS CHANGING THE LOCKS RIGHT NOW SO SHE DOESN'T HAVE A KEY TO GET IN HERE WHILE I AM GONE....THANKS FOR THE OFFER OF YOUR HOME EILEEN IT MEANS ALOT TO ME!!!!!

I don't know about the law, but wouldn't the therapist be in a lot of trouble for saying anything to anybody?  Isn't there a privacy law (HPPA)  She had no right telling anybody anything. Call your lawyer as fast as you can.  Get the lock or keys changed.  I could maybe understand if you had only been married a few months or years, but 23 years. Where was she in those 23 years?  Where has she been the last year?  She must have been smelling money!!! Don't let her in your house and also watch what you say.  Might be nice to have a little mini recorder in your pocket. Good luck. Mickey

LOCKS ARE BEING CHANGED RIGH NOW....MY BROTHER IS HERE DOING IT FOR  ME....THANK GOD HE IS HELPING ME BECAUSE IT IS A BIGGER JOB THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE!!!!!  THATS WHAT I ASKED HER LAST NIGHT...WHERE WAS SHE WHEN I NEEDED HER HERE TO HLEP ME WITH HER DAD....SHE HAD NO ANSWER.....BUT SHE IS STILL IN MOURNING FROM HER HUSBANDS DEATH A YEAR AGO HALLOWEEN.....BUT DAMIT SHE HAS A HELL OF A LOT OF NERVE DOING THIS TO ME!!!!!!! AND WE SURE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY FOR HER TO COME AFTER THAT IS FOR SURE.....BUT I AM CALLING MY LAWYER TOMORROW AND LET HIM ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR ME....
