I'm new at this---WA Medicaid, OHSU, Successful WLS??????

I'm new at this---WA Medicaid, OHSU, Successful WLS?????? Has anyone had a surgery done by OHSU with WA medicaid? Any info on this is greatly appreciated.... Or is there anywhere else that takes medicaid in WA or OR besides the Univ. of WA? Also does anyone know about how much fast tracking is? This is when they do the adjustable band option and you go home the same day......It's supposed to be cheaper than the regular way if you qualify for it. I just don't have any frame of reference for what all these things cost. I just want to live and see my kids grow up....

Welcome Lisa, My best advice would be to hang out here at OH and start some research. There are a lot of helpful ppl. on here and I would post your questions on the lap band site as well or even the main message board. I don't know about costs of lap bands, but I know that the RNY can cost anywhere from 20,000 to 35,000 which is what I am looking at. I have OR medicaid and so far have found no one to help me...I wish you better luck!
