Looking for advice on picking a workout to tone up!

Hello, I am almost 10 months out from my surgery and in a size 6 to 8 and 9 lbs away from my goal weight. I am not concerned with losing weight anymore but need to tone up!!! I have a flabby stomach and my arms are yuck!!! I tried Curves for 1 week and didnt really feel anything. Before I invest in a membership I was wondering if anyone else out there found Curves to be beneficial during the final stages of weightloss or should I join a gym for more of a workout. Any advice????

Hi PL, Sounds like we are on the same path. I am almost 10 months out and 6 pounds from goal. I have the same problem with my arms and tummy. Boy, can I relate!!!? I am going to Curves and find it helpful to me. I haven't exercised in years, so I am in pretty bad shape. At first, I thought Curves was too easy, but I now go around the circuit 3 times and notice that it makes a difference to me. I think that, in a year, I might be ready for a more energetic gym-type exercise but, for now, it's a great way for me to begin. Good luck in your search for what's best for you! Joy
