Doctor Suggestions

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on Doctor's or clinics that might be better to try when starting this proceedure. I also dont know that much about the doctors in the area. Any suggestions??

Hi Kim! I am going with Dr. Pattersons office in portland but i do know that Salem hospital has just started doing bypass surgery and added a great clinic for this surgery. You can call Salem hospital and get the dates of an info session to learn more. I belive the name of the place i am using in portland is called the obesity institute at legacy. Are you wanting to have by-pass or lap-band ?will your insurance pay or will you be slef pay. All these things make a differance. I went to the Northwest bariatric clinic in North Bend they have a web site www.northwestbariatricsurgery.com - I was self pay and researched most the Dr's in the area. I'm going through Legacy Obesity Institute at Good Samaratin in Portland. I have had a good experience so far, and my surgery is scheduled for May 2nd.
