Live alone

Hi everyone, I live alone with cat & dog. Will I be able to fend for myself or will I need home health for awhile?

You will do fine on your own. Just make sure that you have someone at least call you or you call them to make sure everything is okay.

It depends on what procedure you are having done and what kind of support system you have in place. If you have an uncomplicated lapband, you should have no problems at all taking care. The secret will be in the preparation. On the other hand, if you have complications, even "minor" ones from an open surgery, you may need help. No family or friends to help out? Could you stay with parents or family for a few days if you need to? tee

My Father & Stepmother are elderly. My sister lives an 3 hour round trip from me. Her husband is having a Lap Band procedure in a few months, she works and has two teenage daughters. Her plate is full! I will probably have a RNY as that is all Kaiser does at this time. I may need some home health care for a while. Thanks!
