I have to lose as much weight as possibly in the next 2 weeks. I am on a 1000 calorie diet. Has anyone had success with this? I have been on it for a week and a half and have only lost 2 pounds. Any ideas?

I had to go on the famous or should I say infamous cottage cheese and tuna diet. You could have as much of it as you wanted. Apparently it helps melt fat from around the liver, but you also lose a lot of weight. Don't remember all of the diet. Maybe someone from Dr. Patterson's or Hong's office could help with that. Good luck. Pam

Elesha, Here's the key (says the woman who endured the pre-op diet from hell from Patterson - only to find out after 2 months on it that my insurance wouldn't cover surgery and I'd done it all for NOTHING!): Super low fat Super low carb Super high protein Super hydration Is your surgery a lap surgery? Is it about shrinking your liver? Or is it about losing weight? Blessings, dina

I think it is mostly to reduce my liver, but also to lose some stomache fat. Most of my weight is in my stomache. I have been on 1000 - 1200 calories everyday. I only lost 2 pounds.
