Beaverton Support Group Meeting - February 8, 2006

Reminder that the Beaverton Support Group Meeting is coming up! The meeting is at: Beaverton Community Center 12350 Southwest 5th Street Beaverton, OR 97005 You can easily find it by going to the corner of SW 5th and SW Hall across from the Beaverton Public Library. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM and goes until 8:50 PM. Also, many people use the meeting as a place to bring and exchange clothing, so feel free to bring clothes you no longer fit in.

I Dina. Would you mind sharing a little bit about the Beaverton Support group? Is it made up of mostly DS patients? I have had an open RNY...two of them. By the way, I just read some of your profile and looked at your before and after pictures. What an amazing adventure for you and your husband. God bless! Peg

Hi Peg, The Beaverton group is for any surgery, any surgeon - there is a good representation of all. Very fun group - and very friendly. There is typically a pre-meeting dinner, as well. They usually pick a place and as many folks as can show up early for dinner do. Sometimes a bunch go out to Red Robin afterward for a snack, as well. Lots of time to chat with folks! It's great!
