Introduce myself
HI Everyone,
My name is Autumn and I've been lurking for a few months now and I've finally decided to introduce myself. I really want to join a support group but my time is sooo limited that I'll have to go with the next best thing... I had my surgery Nov 29, 2005 and I'm down 49lbs!! A total loss of 74lbs from my highest weight. I feel good and I haven't had any problems. I'm not getting enough water but I'm trying to improve that. I'm 30 yrs old and a newly single mom of an 18 month old boy. Life is hard right now but the light at the end of this tunnel is really, really bright!
Hi Autumn. Welcome! I'm really glad you posted. Congrats on the weight loss! You have a lot of new beginnings in your life. Where is North Bonneville, Washington? I hope you continue to post here and let us know how you are doing. It helps me so much to be able to come here and know that there are others like me who are working on becoming healthy. Take good care of yourself.

Hi, I'm Sue. I just had my RNY on 2-1. I am 53 and take care of my grandaughter (10 mos) 4 days a week. Needless to say, I have a couple of weeks off while I heal. I am still the new kid on the block, but believe me, there are many wonderful caring people at this site, so welcome and post often. Sue
So glad you joined us Autumn! It sounds like you are off to a great start already. 49 pounds in just over two months - wow!
It is so wonderful that you are only 30 years old and your little boy is so young. It will be so much easier for you to chase him down and get down on the floor and play with him. It is also so important to be turning your health around, you will feel so much better!
It is a good thing to be able to talk to others that are going through this experience. Don't hesitate to ask questions about WLS or the mom stuff too. My three kids are now in the teen years .
