Back from the Surgery

Hi, I am back from my RNY @ OHSU on 1/24. The surgery went get o.k. I ended up with asparation in my lungs and then infections. So I was there a little longer then I had hoped But, not bad. I'm only 6 days out and I would do it again. Carrie

Hi Carrie! How are you feeling now? I hope better. My doctor has recommended Dr. O'Rourke. Did you think he was a good surgeon? I'd like to hear more about your complications and how you're doing now. I hope you are feeling much better. Vena

Hi Vena, I would totaly recommend Dr O'Rourke. I was very happy with him and his staff. The night of surgery I devolped a high fever. They think that it was caused by infection, it cleared up in a day and then everything was fine, I just had to stay in the hospital a little longer. The next support group is on March 21st @ 7:00.
