Have you checked out the clothing exchange?
I went to the Value Village in Tigard (99 off 217) the day before my trip to Hawaii. For fifty dollars I got outfits for my whole trip. I really couldn't have done better if I had bought them new at Meyer & Frank. The best thing was this adorable lime green leather & straw purse with the price tag still on it for $38. and I paid $4.
Whenever I shop like that I come out thinking "I should always shop here" but then I don't. I will get caught up in thinking I am buying all sale items at Meyer & Frank and store like that, but they manipulate us into thinking that way and in the end we spend lots of money. Coming out of Value Village with five outfits, a silky robe and purse for fifty bucks is the true bargin. It does take some picking through, and I MADE myself try the stuff on because I can't be trusted to know what fits me these days.

Hi Patty!
Thanks for reminding me. I heard about Value Village. It's not far from my house. I haven't been there, yet. I will make a point of stopping by there this week.
Are you ready for a get together sometime soon? Tee said that she's ready and I think that Peg would be ready.
Yes, I understand about trying things on. I didn't, the first time I shopped, and everything was too big. What a wonderful lesson to learn! It used to be that I would buy things and they were too small LOL
