I have a date to see the surgeon ! Dr Moiel ?

Hi Everyone: I actually have a date through Kaiser to see the Surgeon (February 17th). His name is Dr Moiel. Does anyone have anything to say about him ? Nice ? Hard ? I am wondering what I should expect from him ? I have lost about 30 lbs so far (in the last year) and I am wondering if he will be happy about that or require me to lose more ? I cant believe I am so nervous about seeing him ! I have worked so hard to get thios appt and now I am scared of him ! LOL ! Jen Marchand

Hi Jen, Congratulations! I have also been accepted into the Kaiser program and I am starting my first Freedom from Diets class on Thursday. My first info session is Jan. 20th. I am really curious to know how long it took you to get an appt with the surgeon after you started the process. I was told by MaryLou that the average wait time is 6 months from when you are accepted to when you have the surgery, but I hope to do it sooner. What has your timeline been like up to this point? Hi, I am also in the Kaiser program and have been since my referal since 04/05/05. With the required classes and the way scheduling is done, I would be shocked to talk with someone who had gone through the program in 6 months. I think that 1 year would be much for likely. I will let you know after my next appointment 01/17, but as of yet I am not even sure what the next step is.
