Bless your heart for thinking of me! Gosh, yes, my surgery was fantastic (well, ok, surgery is surgery, right?) I'm one week post-op and I'm gaining mobility and activity daily. I'm enjoying my last week off without any kids during the day--hooray! Thanks so much for your support and thoughts

I think it was about two weeks from the time I saw my surgeon until I received my surgery date. My surgery date was three weeks from the date that I called...so five weeks from the time I saw my surgeon until my surgery. I haven't gone to the support groups at the hospital, but a co-worker of mine, Jerri, goes every month. She loves it--everyone is very nice and very supportive & helpful. I have three teenagers at home myself. I have 12, 13, & 14. And yes, they argue and ***** all the time. After I got home, we all sat down and talked about what would need to change for a few days. Bless their hearts, they tried to be nice and quiet. Now they're back to normal!
