Had PS by Dr. Parrish of Medford?

Hi there - just keeping my eye out for a good Plastic Surgeon close to my home. Dr. Earl H. Parrish, MD has been in practice for 31 years. Has anyone had PS done by him? Heard anything positive/negative about this Dr? Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! Robin

Robin - I used to live in Brookings. I adore the coast...wish I could afford to work and live there! I haven't had my PS yet, but I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Dr. Parrish. Unfortunately I want insurance to pay for part of my PS and they don't take the insurance because the procedure that insurance covers they won't do. They told me it wasn't aesthetically pleasing enough. Anyway, I'm trying to get a referral to a surgeon who will take the insurance and do a good job. There are 2 possibilities in Ashland but I don't have my referral yet and I can't remember their names. I should know next week. Anyway, about Parrish - I have heard from many people who know of his work and he is considered the primo best to go to here. Probably next in line would be Jensen and then the other name I'm hearing a LOT of is Dr. Gallagher in Bend. He used to work with Parrish apparently. Hope that helps! Dina

Thank you!!!! You know, I had this really good feeling about him. I felt like the Lord was saying, "pick him he's a good one!" Isn't it wonderful out here?? I love it too - we've lived here for about 2 years now and it's just amazing. My husband and I were walking along the beach yesterday and I said, "Isn't it great that we can go to the ocean anytime we feel like it?" We used to vacation in Lincoln City before we moved down here and we used to fantasize about living on the coast. But for the exact reasons you stated, we felt it was an impossibility. HOWEVER, we found out about the prison here in Crescent City, so when my husband retired from the Navy (he was only 40), he applied and got a job there. Now, that's God's work!!! Answering our hearts desire!!! I hope one day you can move out here again!! I know exactly how you feel!! Thanks again for the information on Dr. Parrish! Robin
