A very tragic death

Hello Everyone, It's been a really long time since I have posted on the boards. I need to let you all know...or anyone who knew Theresa Strickland that she died tragically on Tuesday evening in her home. I spent the evening with her on Monday as her father had just passed away on Saturday afternoon. She was grief stricken but so happy that she had lost 115 lbs and had just started a new job. On Tuesday afternoon her husband left home to take their young daughter to soccer practice. When he returned two hours later Theresa was laying in bed and had already passed. The cause of her death is yet unknown. Theresa was so happy to have had WLS and she was doing so well. She really enjoyed meeting the people from this board and getting together with everyone. I met Theresa on our first get together at Stanley's Corner and we became immediate best friends. The loss and heartache I feel is so huge. But I am so thrilled that she was a part of my life if even for a little more than a year. The memorial service for her will be on Saturday the 24th. Shelly, Thank You so much for contacting me and letting us all know of this sad news!! I am sitting here crying and didn't even know her very well. My prayers are with you her good friend and all her family. I remember the night we all first met and I met her sweet kids and husband.
