I had surgery a little over two months ago. I have gone from Morbidly Obese to Overweight! What a great feeling. It's amazing how our bodies can change so quickly and I now have more energy than ever. I am so grateful for this surgery and just wanted to share my "joy" with all of you! Joy

That is truly wonderful Joy! The body can respond so quickly to the changes that take place since the day of the operation. I felt so much better just two weeks after surgery - I kind of pictured my pancreas doing a Macarenna dance. I remember very clearly the first time I heard the reference "morbidly obese" used in relation to me. It isn't anything I didn't know at some level, but to see it on my chart and know that it was the reality was a real hard day for me. It had probably been on there for years. Great to hear you are doing so well! Patty

Thanks, Patty. Yes, morbidly obese is a very sad phrase. Never again will we have to describe ourselves in that way! Joy
