Hi Dina, Boy, that peanut butter spread sounds so yummy. I am 10 days post op now, when do you think I could have something like that? The other day I was trying to find something crispy but crunchy to nibble on. I don't really want to have anything rice because it expands. I looked at the Soy Crisps. They have like 14 grams of carbs for 18 little rounds. I know for a fact that I could probably eat like 2 of them and be full. I didn't buy them but have you tried them or do you have another favorite that I can check out? I'm thinkin' I need to go to Trader Joes and explore! I love that place. As for the Boost thing. Yeah, real dumb. I should've known better and should of trusted my own instincts. I did ask about it, but they reassured me that it was fine. When I go to my 3 week check up, I'm going to talk to my Doctor about their menu! They have way too many sugar items. Take care and thank you.......keep in touch! ~Melody~

The peanut butter fat free cream cheese you should be able to have right now. What you put it on is the issue. I know my doc was good with me having toast right from the get-go. I had wheat thins in the beginning as well. I *think* those corn thins would be okay, but you might want to wait. They are already popped fully and I don't recall any hulls in there at all. Hard to say for sure, but they might be okay. Otherwise you might try melba toast or just well toasted bread - maybe low carb bread or flat breads. The Soy Crisps are pretty good. You could use those as well. I think the corn thins were similar in texture to me. Just load that topping on thick so you get more of that than the crisp so you get more protein in. Good luck! I hope you find a bunch of yummy things to get you through this early phase! Dina
