For the first time in about 30 years, I weigh less than is stated on my driver's license! What a thing! I don't have to "fib" anymore! Today is my two month anniversary for surgery and I have lost 43 pounds (including the 10 I lost just before surgery). I am able to get in all my protein and fluids. Life is good and I love my new home in Tualatin. Thanks everyone for being here! Joy

Congratulations on your weight loss. I was looking at my ODL the other day and said to my hubby, that I finally weigh less than it states on my DL. He said maybe it was time to go and have a new picture taken. I Dunno.????? Tracy September 16, 2004 306/196/? I am pretty happy in my 14tns. Would love a breast lift, and a tummy tuck, but that will have to wait till the 12th of never.

Fabulous progress Joy! You are well on your way! It's wonderful to be able to do the protein and fluids. I never had any problems and feel so fortunate. After losing 177 pounds I have YET to weight what it says on my license, though I am MUCH closer. I know from the picture and date that I weighed pretty close to 300 pounds and yet the number says 150. I guess I figured it was my perogative as an overweight middle aged woman to lie through my teeth and dare the man at the DMV counter to say anything to me. I would have stared him down and it wouldn't have gone any further. I also figured even a young naive traffic cop would have the common sense to ignore that one. After all.... these cops and DMV workers are husbands, brothers and sons, and ought to know better than to touch that one with a ten foot pole! I have just a few more pounds to get to 150. I think I will enjoy that truth instead of then saying I weigh 120. The picture I do have to change is on my debit card. Thank goodness people really do look at the picture and then you to see if you are a crook. I have noticed more than one person kind of look a couple of times. Patty
