We finally moved!

Hi neighbors! Joe and I have finally moved to Tualatin and we love our new home. It was a thirteen hour drive from California! Our poor cat survived! We were too tired to attend the Crawfish Festival, but there's always next year. I hope to get to know some of you better. Thanks for being here! Joy

Thanks, Sarah! I don't know about the Indian summers. I'm so glad we have air conditioning. I have heard that this summer has been unusually hot! We love it, though! Joy

Welcome! What a great way to begin your retirement. A new home and your surgery behind you already. Moving exhausts anyone - I hope you were able to get through it with new found energy, though my energy didn't hit me until a bit further out. Once you are feeling like you can eat out there is a great place in Tualatin called Haydens Grill. Even early on I still liked to go out to eat (I always have and always will) and was able to order a cup of soup or an appetizer. You also have to check out Bridgeport if you haven't already. The movies are always a reason to go there. The container store was great! Hope to meet you soon! Patty
