Rhonda,I actually watched the show last week. It's suppose to be funny and I did chuckle at a few things but only because it was so outrageous! I find it sad that they make a mockery about something so serious like eating disorders. I don't plan on watching it again. It was too weird and not my cup of tea. I just wanted to see what it was about...and I did. The End.

I only saw part of it. It was so weird and out there that I didn't take it as personal as when eating disorders are laughed at in a more mainstream show/movie. What did make me feel a bit uneasy this summer was the role of Agustas Gloop (sp?) in the Willy Wonka movie. I realize that to be true to Dahl's book and story there wouldn't be a better way to portray the character, but it wasn't easy to watch - in a theater of kids no less. It is written from a time long ago. I think the world has become too politically correct and am not really sure what they could have done with that character if any thing to make it better? It represents every stereo type of the fat kid and gluttony.
