Hello all Today the Dr. Pattersons office called and on Monday the 8th I have a consultation with Dr. Jay Jan. I looked up; http://www.legacyhealth.org/body.cfm?id=720 I'm trying to be excited because it means I'm almost there! But, not much there for him credential wise. My husband says 'not to worry'. Has anyone had this Doctor or know anything about him? Thanks ~Melody~

Hi Melody, I meet Dr. Jan at one of my post op visits recently. Dr. Hong is my surgeon and Dr. Jan was simply sitting in at my appointment. Seemed very nice, but other than that I can't help you out much. I've never met Dr. Patterson either, but I can't speak highly enough for Dr. Hong. I really can't imagine there would be anyone in that office that wasn't top notch. Good Luck! ~Della

Thank you Della. I have to agree with you! I don't think that Dr. Patterson would have incompetent Dr.'s working underneath her. I shouldn't worry so much. I appreciate your response. Thanks ~Melody~

Dr Jan did my Lap Band surgery in March. He is the greatest and very very tuned into his patients. I think that he is kind of shy not dry. He has a much better bedside manner than Dr Hong (who did my discharge) He spent alot of time with me explaining everything about the procedure, risks etc and made sure I knew what was going to happen. I don't regret my choice to go with him at all. He even gave me my first fill at 3 weeks post op! Dr Hong makes you wait until 6-8 weeks.B
