Today is my 1-year anniversary and I feel great!

I made it to my personal goal of getting into the 180's....I'm at 189, so I barely made it, but I did! Just had to share! Michele

AWWWWWW!! I am so happy for you. It's the best isn't it!?! The big weight loss is first and most a RELIEF - physically. It is such a lifting of a burden to enter into the "normal" zone. You have now reached the point where it is just so much darn FUN!! I found that at first my goals and hopes were much more focused on the health and mobility issues. The more recent loss has been more about "wow I think I can really wear that". I am real proud of you. It's great to hear that you made your personal goal (they are always more wishful than the surgeon's). Your picture looks so beautiful! You are so pretty. I really think you are beautiful in the "this is the picture that made me decide to have WLS" photo. Now you are truly radiant. Patty

Thank you so much Patty! You have been such a sweet, supportive person. Always saying things so beautifully! Yes, clothing has become fun! I can't believe I can consider medium size tops and size 12 dresses! I bought the slinkiest little black halter dress and aside from my arms I look damn fine in it! We really need to get our "date" picked for a get-together. I've just been swamped! Looking for a new job and it's very tiring...working w/SO and being together 24/7 just wasn't the best thing for our relationship so I'm making changes. See you real soon.....let's make it happen!
