OHSU for Plastic Surgery?

Hello All, I am about 16 months out, down 201 and looking into ps. Kaiser denied the panni as it was not affecting my way of life! UGH! Has anyone heard of or been to OHSU for anything in the plastic surgery department? If I am self paying, I want to get the best value and quality. Thanks!! Sarah

Great success Sarah! You must feel so great! I don't have any info for you. I am interested in the same question. I am considering a consult with Dr. Connel in Lake Oswego. He has experience in reconstructive surgery on WLS patients. He is going to talk at our support meeting that is held at Good Sam in Portland (I don't remember the date off hand). I am thinking his price is high, so I would be interested in any suggestions on good ps surgeons too. Patty

My mom had some cosmetic stuff done there, not surgery but she was very happy with everything. I would call and see if you can get a consult, they should be free. That would be the best way to check them out.

Hi Sarah, I'm a year post-op. I have a appt for a consultion at the Plastic surgery dept at OHSU. They want $60.00 the day of my appt. Just to talk to them about what I want done and what the prices would be etc. My appt is the end of this month. I had my surgery at OHSU and I have nothing negative to say about any of it..
