I am home! Well, staying with mom for a week anyway. Got home around 4 hours ago. Still battling with pain, but feeling good. My hospital experience wasn't the best, but I can honestly say I felt like I came through wonderfully and Dr. Patterson gave me the ok to go home when I saw her this AM. I will post the full story on my website and profile soon. But I just wanted to poke in and say howdy and thankx to everyone!! I DID IT!!!!!!!! PS- Hi Dawn!! Brandi

You did it girl! Glad to hear that for the most part things went well - you will have to fill us in later. Move slowly and rest a lot. Getting the protein in will help in the healing process. Mostly though is WATER. It really does make it all go better when you are hydrated. Your pain will lessen a bit each day. I used to think to myself that I didn't feel any better than I did yesterday, but a lot better than I did the day before yesterday. Congratulations you loser! Patty

Yeah!!! It was so great to see you in the hospital! You looked great!!! I am happy to see that you are up and on the computer right away. I am sorry that you did not have a good hospital stay. I know we were on the same floor but because we were accross the hall I wonder if we did not have a little different living arrangements. I had wonderful nurses and they did not let me down....they woke me up just at the right times....when I was in my deepest sleep! ha! I hope we can keep in touch since we had the same surgery and only one day apart. I hope the eating thing is going well for you in recovery! Talk with you soon. Dawn

It was awesome to see you too! I had two great nurses, the rest were rather unfriendly, although I am sure they did all the right things, but I like to joke and smile and they don't, LOL! Then I got a roomie on day 2 and she had TONS of guests in on that day and they didn't even PRETEND to be quiet, LOL! Then of course, the nurse wouldn't let me walk on that first night, she only let me go sit in the chair, which bugged me since I was told to walk wakl walk and I felt like I could. But enough whining, LOL! I am doing good and the pain is getting better each day, the bandages come off today. So how are you doing? Was that your hubby who was with you? We should totally keep in touch! my email is on my profile. Brandi
