I've got a date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! May 25th. This is my official "I've got a date" post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's tentative still, because I still don't have insurance approval....YET! But I have waited so long to be able to post this! And it's only 2 weeks away!! I have been crying for the last hour and a half now, off and on...I am sooo excited. Fear hasn't even become and issue...yet...but I am sure it will. But for now, all I can do is be giddy like a school girl. Everybody on this board has been soo wonderful and soo supportive over the last 2 years, and I honestly wouldn't have gotten this far if it weren't for this website...thankx everyone!!! Brandi

Brandi, That is truely wonderful news!!!!!!!!!! You are so prepared for this change in your life. Your insurance approval had better behave because I think May 25th sounds like a perfect date for you to finally have this happen! I am having my girl surgery the 26th, so I will be feeling a little of your pain that weekend too. Patty

Hi Brandi, Congratulations on getting a date it is so exciting and I know exactly how you feel as I just had mine done on April 28th. Even though I did the Lap Band, no matter what you have choosen it is so exciting. From all that I have read it sounds like you have been persuing this for a long time. I hope that your auth comes thru for you and there are no more delays for you. I'll be two weeks out this Thursday and I'm still so pumped about it that I feel like I'm walking on air. I have felt so good and been so lucky to have every thing go like a text book case. That is even what Dr Hong told my husband after surgery. I hope that all will go smooth for you. I did start getting really nervous about a day or two before surgery. I don't think that you can make a choice like this and not feel some angziety when it come time to go in. I wish you all the best of luck and keep us posted about the auth and if you are going ahead with it on May 25th...... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Thankx everybody, I am still soo thrilled. I even found out today that 3 other people where I work have had the surgery, so this is a good sign. I got the call today saying they finally submitted my paperwork for pre-approval. I just want the waiting to be over, I want them to call me now and say "your approved, surgery tomorrow". I am very impatient. Brandi
