Hi. everyone. Just wanted to check in and let you know that all is still very well with me! I can't tell you how good I feel. Absolutly no pain and lots of energy. Yesterday I spent the day weeding in my yard. Today I cleaned out drawers and closets. These are things that I have put off due to lack of energy but not now! I have to say that I feel as if I'm on a high, from just knowing that my life is going to change and only will get better. I weighted this morning and down 14 pds since surgery. Drinking two protein drinks a day, 64 oz of water and some sugar free jello. It is so exciting, but I also know that this will slow down and become a much slower pace. I really have not had any hunger pains but this may change over the next couple of weeks from what I hear. I hope not but will deal with it each day. I have set my first goal and hope that I can make it. I feel very confident but will not get discouraged if I do not. Will check back in soon!

Sorry Linda - I've been off for a few days. By now you must be about two weeks out! I hope you have continued to do so well. Geez I was still slouching around in my slippers, and you are out weeding?!? Hope does give a feeling of energy and well being. I think I felt better right after surgery from being "detoxed" of all the bad stuff I was putting in my body. Don't be surprised if you do get some days when your energy feels gone. You are healing and will be for some time. Be good to yourself and drink all of your water. Keep us posted. Patty
