DR. EUBANKS ANY ONE...........?

MY name is david jefferis and im meeting with dr EUBANKS in Portland can any one tell me if they have gone to him for surgery..? im 42.0bmi and have tried this and that like the rest of you just very scared and would like any input from any one that can help im 34 and have 2 small children so im very scared but wanting to try surgery

Dr. Eubanks is wonderful! I had my Lap RNY with him last July. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent and very approachable. He'll be honest with you and take the time to answer any questions you have. Let me know if you have any specific questions about him or the experience! If you are planning on having the lap-band I would NOT have Dr. Eubanks do it. He has very little experience and he made some major mistakes with me in my aftercare fills. Luckily I had my surgery in Los Angeles due to insurance and not with him as was the original plan. I also believe for whatever reason he has a hard time keeping patients. This makes me wonder again what else is wrong with him. Please seek out other Dr.'s especially Dr. Emma Pattersons group. She is highly respected and recognized world wide. Her group and Cedars Sinai where I had my surgery were the only two groups picked by the FDA to do a current research study on the gastric pacemaker. If you choose him please check him out with both the Oregon and Washington Medical boards. Also find out exactly how many of each of the surgeries he has done. It does make a huge difference. Just because someone can make a good impression and be nice does not make them good surgeons. Sorry for going on but he frankly concerns me immensely.
