My pre-op is scheduled for March 2nd in Portland

This coming Wednesday, I am scheduled for the pre-op meeting in Portland. However, I have not had my appointment with the surgeon yet. This seems to be out of sinc - but I believe my surgeon will be Dr. Hong. Hopefully sometime in March. Or if they are booked up maybe I'll get to have Dr. Patterson sometime in May.

I am still waiting for my pre-op class with Dr. Hong, then the consult as well. I think they do it this way so we are more educated going into our consults with the surgeon. I am right with you as far as timing goes. I will hear back early next week to find out when my pre-op class is. I was told Dr. Hong for sure, cause I know a lot of people are waiting and are probably already booked with Dr. Patterson for when she comes back. I am aiming for sugery in April. Good luck! Brandi

Yahoo! I get to meet with Dr. Hong on the 9th of March. I am very excited too! After my pre-op appointments they could not get me in with the surgeon for almost three weeks. I hear that once you meet with the surgeon it would then be only a matter of a couple of weeks for the surgery. It looks like Dr. Hong is only in the office on Wednesdays. The rest of the days, according to the nurse, are all surgery days for him. I wish you the best of luck. This is really exciting! Dawn
