Newbie here, surgery date: 4/12/05

hello..My name is Pam, I'm in Medford and still trying to figure out this sight and how to communicate. Any help would be appreciated!! Anyone in Medford having surgery in April? My surgeon is Dr. Street. I'm so excited for my surgery date to come and begin the process of looking and feeling better. I'm not scared about surgery, little nervous about hospital stay, but not scared. I'm interested in attending support groups before and after surgery. Look forward to hearing from you. Pam

Hi Pam! I've already had my surgery, but I am in Medford! LOL! I know you have your own support group you attend, but if you want to come to ours tonight, it's at the Smullin Center at 6:30pm. We are a mismash of patients from different doctors who aren't necessarily local. Hope you can make it - we meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Smullin Center at 6:30 pm. I do believe Dr. Street was who did my gallbladder surgery. It has been so long, I've forgotten if he did mine or my husband's. I have stayed at the hospital at RVMC a couple times and have never had a bad experience, so hopefully you will have the same kind of experience. Good to see another Medfordite here! Dina
