Guess who I ran into Saturday night?

My husband and I and another couple met some old friends at a bar in Beaverton. While there I was in the bathroom stall (!!!) and, of course, I can't help but listen in on the bathroom conversation. I heard a lady say, "You are so skinny!" And then the reply, "I had gastric bypass surgery". So of course that peaked my interest and then when I heard her say her beginning weight (which was almost the same as mine!) I yelled out, "I had gastric bypass, too!" Anyway, to make a long story short, it was TERESA!!!!! I finally got to meet someone from this message board and it was in the bathroom of a Chinese restaurant! She even did her "pose" for me like in her picture! And, for the record, Teresa looks wonderful! I would kill to have her beautiful hair, especially since I am loosing mine! Kathleen

Kathleen, I didn't realize you hadn't met anyone from the group yet.. I was going to introduce you to tammy but you seemed rush so I didn't want to bother you. (you and hubby were leaving?) tammy doesn't post much on this board but she had surgery as well. thanks for the compliment about the hair.. I did end up loosing 1/2 of it.. I was lucky that I could afford to loose that much. and I refused to cut it off.. that is pretty strange to meet someone from an online group in a bathroom stall in some random restaurant.. ok, for everyone else.. why the lady was telling me that I looked so skinny (i'm not!!) was I had on my tight ass levi's.. The kind that have front pockets that seemed to go all the way down to the middle of the thighs? (501's?) anyhoo, I was nit picking my self as usual and trying to smooth them out so they didnt' look so silly.. the girl that was standing there (while kathleen was ummmmmmm in the stall..LOL) told me to quit fussing about it that I looked great. She was a heavy YOUNG girl (maybe 22) so I piped up and said I was self consious becuase I have lost alot of weight and to me it looks like skin and not the pocket.. so she says YOU ARE SO SKINNY how did you loose the wieght. her friend is now out of the other stall (kathleen is still in hers) and I said I had GASTRIC BYPASS... kathleen yells out from the stall ME TO.. and the girls friend said she did as well.. and has been trying to get the girl intrested in it. says it would be better for her to do it now instead of waiting until she is in her 30's and missed out on life (she didn't look as if she was missing out on anything but..................................) then kathleen comes out and we eventually realize who each other is.. LOL how comical is that?? too bad it wasn't so crazy we could have had a conversation outside of the bathroom.. LOL take care and hopefully we can run into each other again.. Theresa

Theresa! Sorry I misspelled your name! Yeah, like I said "I don't get out much!" so it was AMAZING that I actually stayed out past 11:00! Pathetic, huh? Sorry I missed Tammy and I would have loved to talked more! Next time we run into each other in the bathroom of a restaurant I promise I won't immediately leave! LOL Kathleen

Oh my goodness! THAT Tammy! Now I'm really sorry I missed you! Actually, I had such a good time, I'm planning to go out again soon. Who knows, I may even stay up past 11:00 again! Have you two been to that place before? I thought the music was great! Kathleen
