Breakfast last Saturday

It was so nice to meet those of you who attended breakfast last Saturday. I hope we can do it again. I'll be happy to drive wherever you all want to go. Or . . . you can always come to Vancouver. Anyway, just wanted to thank Michele for setting it up. Pam

I agree, wonderful to meet people in person. When I was walking in, I had a flash of what cyber-dating must feel like - when two people know eachother so well via the internet, and then meet. It was a good idea for me. When we were finished, the day was still young, and I was out and dressed. Obviously I don't feel compelled to be up and dressed on a Saturday morning without a reason. Nights tend to follow a hectic day (they always are), and it gets a little harder to not be missed. You were all such good company, and relating to each other is a total shortcut - we share something that has been so big in our life (the past weight struggles and the WLS experience). Let's do it again. And yes...THANK YOU Michelle for getting us going. Dina, we have floated the road trip idea again. We need warm weather to get our toes in your pool. Patty

Awwww....thanks! Kudos to Mary for picking such a great little restaurant as well (aside from the ditz of a waitress, lol). Perhaps we'll try her other recommendation next time! It was so wonderful to see the progress of those I've met in the last 6 months...the changes in everyone are amazing! And a treat to finally meet those that are new to the "in-person" group. Patty and Pamela....you are both sweethearts! All in all, a great bunch of women! Hope all the lurkers and those who just couldn't make it this time will be able to attend the next one! Michele
